At one point, we happened upon a small field of brightly colored flowers. Certain they were a trap of some sort, we gave them a wide berth as we cautiously skirted the area.

Okay, no we didn't. This was the most color we'd seen besides dull cactus green since we'd gotten to the Gardens, so we paused for a bit and hoped no one would see us enjoying it.

There were these cool trees that looked like they'd been transplanted from some far-off land, probably first discovered by Dr. Seuss. That cruise ship in the distant background is the very same one we'd seen earlier from the palace, which itself is kind of behind those Truffula Trees.

To show you just how winding the paths were through the Exotic Gardens, this shot is centered on pretty much the exact same area as was the one above, with the cruise ship in the background and the same bit of city down and to the right from it.

It began to dawn on us that we were in a kind of open air Labyrinth. We began to wonder where the Minotaur might be, and if he'd have a stash of brewskis with him.
